We put out a lot of great records in 2007 and are planning to put out more in 2008. But we first need to make room for them and also raise some funds, so we are having a big sale on our web site. Everything that came out in 2007 is on sale and so is a bunch of other releases as well. If you downloaded some of the releases and have been meaning to buy them but have not had the chance, or if you have been meaning to get some of the last few releases but keeping putting it off, it would be much appreciated if you did it soon. Your support helps keep the label going. Now onto some news...
Des Ark is leaving for their month-long European tour next week. This is a mostly acoustic tour of Des Ark solo songs but a few of the shows they will be performing the louder rock songs. They plan on coming back to Europe in the late Spring and touring behind the louder rock set. The dates are as follows:

Des Ark has been working on new songs and hopes to finish a new full-length this Spring.
glös has just released a new EP entitled Hidden Cities. At the moment, it is a MP3 release available for purchase only through their web site . Their full length, Harmonium, is still available in CD/LP and MP3 format. Act soon if you want an LP version as they are going fast! The LP is a split release with ADAGIO830 Records in Germany. If you live in Europe, please pick it up from them via their web site.
There is some cool footage of Sleepytime Trio playing two songs at the Action Patrol reunion show on YouTube .
Haram’s second full-length, Drescher, has been getting some nice reviews recently. The vinyl version of Drescher is also a split release with ADAGIO830 Records in Germany, and there are two color choices for it: yellow or blue. If you live in Europe, please pick it up from them via their web site.
Quieting Syrup (Stephen Howard from Pinebender’s solo project) has some tracks up you can check out by visiting his web site .The record, Songs About A Sick Boy, is currently being mastered and should be out sometime soon.
The Engine Down DVD is in the final proofing stages and we hope by next update it will be done and sent off for production. We are really excited about the DVD and think that the final product was well worth the wait.
The new Pygmy Lush full-length, Mount Hope, is mastered and sounds great. There is still no set release date yet, but we are hoping to have one set sometime soon.
The Washington, D.C., Jewish Community Center has invited Jason Hamacher (Decahedron/Frodus) to exhibit his photographs of Aleppo, Syria's Great Synagogue. The show is titled "Inside the Great Synagogue of Aleppo: Photographic Selections from Jason Hamacher’s Forthcoming Book, Aleppo: The Essence of Syria." A formal reception will be held on January 13th between 3:00 and 5:00 pm, and all are invited. He will speak about the exhibition along with some guest speakers.
